The first thing I would do is check for leaks. It is possible, even though the trailer was winterized, something froze and cracked. It may not be a bad leak but a leak nonetheless could cause the system to steadily lose pressure which would make the pump run.

While I don't know exactly what faucet you have the design for removing the handles on a faucet like # EM29FR is pretty standard. There will typically be a small hole in the back of the handle that will have a small set screw you can loosen to remove the handle. From there it could be bad valve or just a failing gasket, but you'd have to reach out to the manufacturer of the faucet to determine if replacements are even available. view full answer...

I believe the rear suspension of your truck is the likely root cause of the issue that you're experiencing. Years ago, 1/2 ton trucks had a standard leaf spring suspension.
